The Brashear/Novinger baseball team hosted Linn County/Meadville Friday. The game was a close one throughout with the score tied 10-10 after 7 innings. Brashear held Linn County scoreless in the top of the 8th, then scored a run in the bottom of the 8th to claim an 11-10 win. Bailyn Halley had 3 hits, Cole Erwin had a triple and a single, Koenn Stewert and Drew Magruder each had a double and a single and Cory Holcomb, Cade Erwin, and Riley Whitlow also had hits. Bailyn Halley got the start with John Higgins, Drew Magruder, and Cade Erwin pitching in relief.
